Advanced Diagnostic Services
You and your doctor have access to a wide range of advanced diagnostic tools to identify the type, location and extent of your cancer, including:
- Biopsy – Removes cells from your body so they can be examined under a microscope
- Blood tests – Look for evidence that may indicate cancer
- Diagnostic imaging services – Reveal where cancer is located inside the body
- Endoscopy – Uses a thin, hollow tube or a small, swallowable capsule to look inside your body to locate cancer
