Education Grant Requests

NOTICE

Grant applications are closed until January 2025. Applications which were submitted by October 25, 2024, will receive notification in early January.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Grant applicants must be 501(c)3 organizations and provide the most recent IRS 990 Form upon request.
  • Only one grant per organization will be awarded each year. If your organization receives an education grant from Cone Health, you will not be eligible for additional funding during the same 12-month period.
  • Organizations applying for grant funding must be professionally managed with a proven record of financial stewardship.
  • Applicants must have the ability to prove that proceeds will benefit specific educational programming or workforce development programs. In most cases, grants will not be awarded to fund the organization’s administrative or overhead costs.
  • Prior grant awards do not guarantee future funding.
  • If approved for a grant, the recipient must send Cone Health an official invoice and W9 to receive payment. 

We are NOT able to provide grants to the following:

  • For-profit organizations
  • Individual public or private schools, excluding institutes of higher learning such as community colleges and universities
  • Individuals
  • Organizations that cannot provide a W9 or numbered invoice
  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, culture, language, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, socioeconomic status or religion
  • Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns

Important Dates

  • Grant applications will be reviewed three times a year:
    • Summer Programming Submission Deadline: February 21, 2025
    • Fall Programming Submission Deadline: May 16, 2025
    • Spring Programming Submission Deadline: September 19, 2025 
  • Approvals and denials will be communicated via email.
