Aashka Mehta

Vice President of Post-Acute Care

Aashka Mehta, is responsible for organizing the care that a person may need once they leave the hospital. This may include home health and other care aimed at helping people resume normal activities. Her teams work with utilization review, hospitalists, and therapists across Cone Health including in-patient rehabilitation and Triad HealthCare Network. She also leads the Penn Nursing Center at Annie Penn Hospital.

Since joining Cone Health in 2009, Mehta has worked in numerous roles earning experience in management, operations, finance and knowledge of different payor types and health plans.

She holds a master’s degree in health care administration from Pfeiffer University and a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University. Mehta is a licensed nursing home administrator.

Mehta serves on the boards of Guilford Community Care Network and Well*Spring Solutions.

She was recognized by Cone Health as a COVID Legend and by the Alamance County Health Department as a Public Health COVID Champion.
