Ellen Pancoast 

Vice President of People Operations, Cone Health  

Ellen Pancoast, SHRM-CP, PHR, is vice president of people operations for Cone Heath.

Pancoast has oversight for employee health and wellness, Cone Health People Solutions Center (shared services), Cone Health Employee Partnership (employee relations), Cone Health Total Rewards, worker’s compensation, leave and disability and HR compliance.

Pancoast joined Cone Health in 2012 and played an important role leading Cone Health’s employee COVID response. With more than 20 years of human resources experience, she has held a variety of roles and specialties in the field.

Ellen is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in human resources. She holds a master’s degree in human resources from Ottawa University.

Pancoast has served as a board member for AuthoraCare Collective since 2015 and is chair of the human resources committee. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the HR Management Association of Greensboro.
