Biography
Board certified in neurology, Zachary K. Vaslow, MD, is a neuro-oncologist. He specializes in brain tumors, brain metastases and neurologic complications of cancer.
During his Duke University Hospital fellowship, he enrolled and managed patients in clinical trials for novel therapies, including direct immunotherapy delivery (convection enhanced delivery). With hopes of enhancing treatments, he is involved in a growing slate of clinical trials at Cone Health.
Compassionate and empathetic, he believes in taking ownership of his patients’ care and guiding patients and their families.
Originally from Maryland, he is married with five children. A former All-American in track and cross country, he enjoys running.
