Dr. Blackman was phenomenal. He showed concern for my other medical conditions and took the time to show me a lot of imaging on the monitor. He was waiting for me when I returned from the x-ray and spent sufficient time with me to make sure he understood my issues and answered all of my questions.

Dr Blackman explained my situation very well. He made me aware that another provider would have put me through an unnecessary procedure and expose me to considerable risk. My only issue with this visit is Dr Blackman's dismissiveness of my pain. I fully understand and accept that my BMI disqualifies me ad a surgical candidate, but I have difficulty understanding how I am supposed to lower my BMI if I am barely able to walk.
