Biography
Peggy Constant, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Women’s Hospital faculty practice. She primarily sees patients at the Center for Women’s Healthcare at Women’s Hospital. Dr. Constant is originally from Montreal, Canada. She is fluent in English and French.
Dr. Constant has supported the Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) in Guilford County as a medical consultant. Through the help of grants and gifts secured by Cone Health, this program provides lifesaving, diagnostic and medical treatment to underserved women in Guilford and Rockingham counties. She says, “This is true and dear to my heart as I have had close family members lost to cancer or who are still fighting the fight.”
A native of Quebec, Dr. Constant is quick to volunteer that she does not miss Canadian winters. She and her husband, Vincenzo, and their four children have called Greensboro home for the past seven years. They enjoy being outdoors and travelling. Dr. Constant volunteered in Haiti with other volunteers supporting relief work following the 2010 earthquake.
