Biography

Dorriea Murphy, PT, DPT, holds a doctor of physical therapy degree. She specializes in treating geriatric patients and those with neurological conditions, including vestibular (balance) issues. She has certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and in LSVT BIG® for treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease. In addition to her role with Cone Health, she serves as an adjunct professor at Elon University in their DPT program.

She is committed to helping patients achieve their best possible outcomes. She focuses on helping patients meet their goals and attends to the areas where her patients experience the most difficulty in their daily lives. She enjoys helping patients with vestibular problems reduce or alleviate their dizziness symptoms, which significantly improves quality of life.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and card making.
