Biography
Philip Lamptey, MD, MBA, is the division medial director for the Cone Health Urgent Care locations. He is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. His specialties include internal medicine, pediatrics and urgent care. Originally from Ghana, he speaks English, Ga and Twi.
Cordial and professional, he is passionate about using a team approach to health care, putting patients at the center of care and involving them in their medical treatment decisions. He believes this approach results in better patient outcomes and brings value to the health of the community.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, learning about other people’s cultures and running.
