Services offered at Cone Health HeartCare at Annie Penn include:
- Regular cardiology office visits
- Coumadin clinic
- Cardiology monitoring
- Referrals for onsite non-invasive imaging and readings
- Cardiolovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation
If patients need additional care or support – such as cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty/stent, or cardiovascular surgical procedures (such as coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacement/repair surgery or vascular surgery) – our HeartCare physicians will refer them to resources within the Cone Health family of care.
For invasive procedures (balloon angioplasty/stent procedures or cardiovascular surgery), patients are typically sent to Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. After invasive procedures and surgery, patients can come right back to their local community hospital (Annie Penn) for their follow-up visits, cardiovascular rehabilitation, supplemental treatment and monitoring, making the process seamless and convenient.
When patients need cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, that takes place right here at Annie Penn.
