Services we provide at Cone Health Rheumatology include:

Ultrasound: Musculoskeletal ultrasound is a dynamic, non-invasive examination. We utilize on-site musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSUS) for the early detection of joint inflammation, assessing ongoing disease activity and monitoring therapeutic responses.

Joint injections: We inject steroids into various joints with and without ultrasound guidance to treat pain and swelling.

In-office lab: We have an in-house lab where we can perform same-day or scheduled lab draws. We use state-of-the-art labs to help diagnose diseases and provide information on prognosis.

Digital X-ray: We offer in-house digital X-ray, which helps to assess joint disease at the time of your visit.

NCV/EMG: An electromyogram (EMG) measures the electrical activity of muscles when they’re at rest and when they’re being used. Nerve conduction studies (NCS) are used to diagnose muscle and nerve diseases.

Infusions: Infusion therapy has proven to be beneficial in treating a wide range of rheumatic conditions.

DXA: DXA is a painless procedure used to measure bone density while exposing patients to minimal radiation. A bone density scan can help us assess patients who are at risk for osteoporosis or osteopenia.

Lifestyle modification: We believe in an integrative approach to your health, and we want to create a customized treatment plan that caters to your individual needs and provides the best patient experience possible. In addition to a full medical consultation from our expert providers, you’ll also have access to health and lifestyle education through dietary coaching and fitness plans.
