Welcome your baby in the nurturing environment of the Women's & Children's Center at Alamance Regional.

If you’re in labor, enter through the emergency department. We’ll assess your condition and transport you to the Women's & Children's Center at Alamance Regional. 

If you scheduled an appointment for a cesarean section or induction, use the visitor’s entrance and proceed to the admitting and registration area in the Medical Mall.

Experienced Maternity Team

Women's & Children's Center at Alamance RegionalThroughout labor, delivery and recovery, you’ll benefit from the knowledge of nurses with advanced training in obstetrics, newborn care and childbirth education. Count on us to be by your side with support and information as we care for you and help you learn how to care for your new little one. And if you choose to breastfeed, you’ll find helpful assistance and advice from our certified lactation consultants.

Family-Centered Newborn Care

Family-Centered Newborn CareIn most cases, you and your baby will remain together throughout your hospital stay. Rooming-in can help promote mother-baby bonding and make breastfeeding easier. If you’re unable to care for your baby or need rest, ask your nurse about our newborn nursery.

Special Care Nursery

NICU Care at Cone Health Women's & Children's CentersIf your newborn needs extra medical attention, trust the neonatology team in our Special Care Nursery, a level III neonatal intensive care unit for specialized care.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Before visiting, please review specific visitor guidelines for Cone Health Women's & Children's Centers here.

Gift Shop

The Lighthouse Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the Medical Mall. The shop offers cards, balloons, fresh flowers, made-to-order gift baskets and gifts including new baby gifts, jewelry, clothing, gift cards and food items.

Dining Options

The Wave Crest Café (Cafeteria)
Located on the lower level of Alamance Regional Medical Center.

  • Breakfast: 6:30 – 9:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Dinner: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Snacks, chips, desserts and drinks are available all day.

Java City (Coffee Shop)
Located in the Medical Mall near patient registration. This shop sells a variety of coffee drinks, muffins and pastries.
