Biography
Tammy Eckard, PharmD, CDE, is a clinical pharmacist and certified diabetes educator with a focus on chronic care management services.
She believes in listening to patients, identifying what is important to them and empowering them to take care of their health. Collaborative and approachable, she strives to meet patients where they are, takes time to answer questions and educates them in easy-to-understand ways.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing in her church handbell choir, working in the yard, watching her sons play baseball and cheering on the Tar Heels.
