Cone Health Awarded for Patient Safety

This is the second patient safety recognition for Cone Health in recent weeks.

Greensboro—Cone Health is the top 10% of all hospitals in the nation when it comes to patient safety in 10 important clinical areas. The recognitions are part of the 2022 CareChex® Awards an information service of Quantros Inc.. This comes on the heels of the fall safety report from The Leap Frog GroupLogo for Safe Vascular Surgery

Patient safety is a major issue in the nation’s hospitals. Thousands of people experience falls, medical errors, infections and other patient safety issues in hospitals every year. Avoiding them helps people heal faster, return home quicker and reduces costs.
