Krishnan’s passion is to embrace AI to improve clinical processes using technology. For example, AI could personalize a patient’s care plan. A care plan is essentially a roadmap of what ails someone to the steps along the path to treatment and, hopefully, restoring health and wellness. “Moving to a model where customized plans are based on generative AI and trained AI models from similar patients and similar care settings is where the future is,” Krishnan says.
Krishnan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (with honors) from the University of Madras, Chennai, India. He has earned certificates in internet security, project management, and lean and Six Sigma in health care.
Krishnan was named one of Becker’s Healthcare’s Top 100 CIOs in Hospitals and Health Systems in 2016.
