Vice President Works to Ensure Better Online Experiences for Consumers

From making an appointment to paying an online bill, Jason Wright works to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Greensboro—Jason Wright has been promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Business Platforms & Digital Solutions at Cone Health.  As such, Wright is responsible for ensuring that Cone Health technology enables seamless business operations, frictionless digital access to care for patients and consumers and automating workflow for the highest levels of efficiency. Jason Wright

A major area of focus in health care is around the consumer experience. Consumers are increasing making their own appointments, checking their medical records and paying their bills online. And technology is essential in making sure that information follows the right patients to the right places throughout the system. Wright will focus on the various systems to make those systems as friendly to use and as efficient as possible.

Previously, Wright was the executive director of enterprise resource planning for Cone Health. He worked on a variety of digital platforms improving efficiency and experience for internal and external customers. Wright has 27 years of broad experience in information technology with more than 17 years of experience in health care. Prior to joining Cone Health in 2018, he served in IT leadership roles at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia since 2006. 

Jason holds an undergraduate degree from UNC-Greensboro and graduate degree in liberal studies from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
