Foot and Ankle Treatment

Our orthopedic specialists work to diagnose and treat your injuries and conditions that affect the foot and ankle. These areas are essential for mobility and balance, and any injury or condition that affects them can significantly impact your quality of life. We aim to restore function, reduce pain, and improve your overall health to get you back on your feet.

Common Foot and Ankle Procedures

  1. Achilles tendon repair - Repairs torn Achilles tendons, which connects the calf muscles to the heel bone, and is commonly injured during physical activity.

  2. Ankle arthroscopy - Uses a small camera and surgical instruments to treat various ankle conditions, including cartilage damage, ankle impingement, and ankle instability.

  3. Bunionectomy - Removes the bony bump at the base of the big toe, called a bunion, which can cause pain and deformity.

  4. Cartilage repair - Repairs or replaces damaged cartilage in the ankle joint, which can be caused by injury or arthritis.

  5. Foot and ankle fusion - Fuses two or more bones in the foot or ankle to eliminate painful motion, commonly used to treat arthritis or deformity.

  6. Hammertoe correction - Straightens a bent toe that is causing pain or discomfort.

  7. Plantar fasciitis release - Releases the tight plantar fascia, a band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot, which can cause heel pain.

  8. Total ankle replacement - Replaces damaged ankle joints with an artificial implant, which can relieve pain and improve mobility.
