Biography
Dottie Dator, PhD, is a provisionally licensed psychologist. Her professional interests include developmental disorders, behavior management/difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorder, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, psychological assessment, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, consultation, and advocacy for patients in schools.
Her unique training helps her understand how a comprehensive range of factors – school, home, and health needs – impact children and their well-being. Collaborative and transparent, she builds strong relationships with children and teens by listening and helping them find a voice. She places an emphasis on parent well-being, by offering support and assistance with strategies that help them feel empowered in managing challenging behaviors and ongoing stressors.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her family and dogs, biking, and listening to live music.
