Whole Life Insurance
Whole life insurance is a type of permanent insurance which provides coverage for the duration of an insured person's life. Once you've bought coverage, your cost won't increase as you age. The benefit amount stays the same, too - it doesn't decrease as you age.
Whole life insurance also earns interest, or "cash value", which you can borrow from. There is also a "Living Benefit", an early payout of the policy's death benefit if you are expected to live 24 months.
As outlined below, Unum offers a Whole life policy to you, your spouse, your children and/or your grandchildren. You do not have to buy coverage for yourself to purchase a policy for your spouse or child/grandchild. standalone policies are available. No medical questions are required to enroll!
Premiums are based on the coverage option selected through the benefits enrollment system.
Policies can be continued on direct pay basis if you leave Cone Health.
