Message from Mary Jo Cagle, MD, CEO

At Cone Health, we are proud of our efforts to transform health care from a volume-based system to one that delivers true value for those we are privileged to serve. Part of this transformation includes our commitment to developing health care leaders of the future.

We appreciate your interest in our Cone Health Administrative Fellowship. Through our comprehensive two-year program, postgraduates are immersed in every aspect of health care leadership through structured rotations and work on key strategic initiatives. Serving as key members of the Cone Health leadership team, Fellows attend all senior executive and Board meetings, and work closely with senior management, medical staff and the Board of Trustees.

Within our integrated health care network, Fellows have an opportunity to contribute to major projects in a variety of settings including five award-winning hospitals, several leading ambulatory care and outpatient surgery centers, a nationally renowned accountable care organization, more than 150 physician practices and a thriving health insurance plan. Upon completion of this program, Fellows should be well prepared for future leadership opportunities in this dynamic and changing health care environment, ensuring people receive the right care at the right time in the right location. In fact, many of our Fellows have gone on to outstanding careers in health care leadership, counting their experiences here as foundational to their success.
