Breast Augmentation

During surgery, your surgeon will use a small incision to place your choice of breast implants:

• Saline has an outer silicone layer filled with a sterile saltwater solution; FDA-approved if you are 18 or older
• Silicone is gel-filled and looks and feels more natural than saline implants; FDA-approved if you are 22 or older

Breast augmentation can change the size of your breasts but may not correct sagging. Talk to your surgeon about a breast lift during your augmentation if that’s part of your goal.
