It started with headaches and then it turned to extreme pain and shaking. When Jessica Middleton went to have her symptoms checked out, doctors at the Cone Health discovered a fist-sized tumor in her brain. At just age 25, Jessica was diagnosed with an aggressive type of brain cancer known as Anaplastic Astrocytoma Glioma. Jessica faced a 10% chance of survival.

Through the care and guidance of Dr. Zachary Vaslow, Dr. Matthew Manning and all the providers at the Cone Health Cancer Center, Jessica has been able to fight off the tumor.
