Conditions that Benefit from Physical Therapy
Depend on your physical therapist to help you recover from an injury or surgery, prevent future injuries or live more easily with a chronic condition. Get conservative, effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, including:
Convenient Physical Therapy Locations
With 12 outpatient rehabilitation centers across the Triad, you’ll find physical therapy services close to where you live or work. Enjoy the warm, friendly environment of your local clinic while taking advantage of an array of specialized services and equipment.
Advanced Therapeutic Equipment
At all our locations, you’ll have access to a variety of exercise equipment, such as NuStep recumbent cross-trainers, treadmills and arm bikes. Select centers feature specialty equipment such as body-weight support systems to assist those who need help walking and Neurocom Balance Master® systems to identify and improve the source of balance issues.
Aquatic Physical Therapy
Enjoy the therapeutic effects of water while building strength and mobility with aquatic therapy. The goal of aquatic rehabilitation is to work up to a land-based exercise program for long-term, functional strength improvements. In the meantime, though, this type of therapy can be incredibly helpful, comfortable and challenging for patients. You’ll work one-on-one with a licensed Physical Therapist in a heated pool located within Cone Health MedCenter Greensboro at Drawbridge Parkway.
Pilates for Rehabilitation
