Cone Health Children’s Services are so appreciative of the support we receive to help improve the hospital experience of our patients. Donations from our community members allow us to serve our patients and their families in the best way possible, and to help them cope with the stress of a hospital stay. Ways to Give
Visit our wish list at Amazon. These items can be purchased online and shipped directly to our department. Our online wish lists are regularly updated and contain our most wanted and needed supplies for our Recreation Therapy room and gifts for our patients.
Items we’re unable to accept:
We cannot accept the following types of donations:
- Used items of any kind. All donations must be new and recently purchased
- Donations that include personal stories, messages, or business cards
- Games or toys depicting violence
- Religious materials
- Food or candy
Rules on Handmade Items
Due to the high volume of requests, handmade items are accepted on a limited basis. Donations such as greeting cards, baby hats, blankets, and handmade dolls/stuffed animals may be declined based on the hospital's needs, safety and quality standards, or storage limitations. All items must be made with new materials and be free from smoke and allergens. Please complete our online form describing your project, including what materials are being used. We may request photos at a later date.
Community/Group Service Projects
Pre-Approved Care Kits for Our Patients
- Choose a Care Kit: Select the type of care kit your group would like to donate.
- Notify Us: Complete our online form with your chosen care kit and estimated delivery time frame.
- Gather Supplies: Collect the necessary supplies and assemble your kits using the instructions provided in the links below.
- Deliver: Deliver your items during the appointment you schedule with the donation team.
Important: No substitutions to the approved items listed for each kit without prior approval.
